Introducing the interview with the founder and director of "Kwiste Fashion Studio," Kristine Grigoryan:
-How did I decide to start a business?
-I returned to Armenia in 2008 following an offer from Orange telecom and worked as a business consultant. As I gained a strong reputation, I began receiving job offers from various organizations. Working in leading companies across different industries, I realized the importance of employee uniforms. Feeling comfortable and stylish at work became a crucial aspect for me. When clothing is beautiful, fashionable, and comfortable, employees work with greater energy and efficiency. Although I had childhood dreams of becoming a designer, my family, consisting of a businessman father and a sister with a network of schools, opposed my pursuit of an artistic career. I initially studied law and later attended business school, even studying in Berlin. To gain professional expertise in my passion, I decided to create a collection for the organization "Arai." However, I soon realized that acquiring formal education was necessary to pursue my beloved craft. I traveled to Milan and Paris, underwent further training, and became a specialist in clothing design through professional education at the Berard Academy. After returning to Armenia, I founded Kwiste Fashion Studio, drawing inspiration from the brand Chanel and its rich history and products.
-What makes you smile?
-A child's smile and genuine joy always bring a smile to my face. Therefore, I strive to share mutual smiles, not only with myself but also with children from orphanages. This is a matter of great importance to me. If you receive something from life, it is equally important to give back. I believe the most appropriate approach is to give, continuously and generously, to children. As the founder and organizer of the charity organization "One Family, One Power," this aspect holds significant significance for me.
-What motivates you?
-A good mood is a great motivator for me. When I'm in a positive state of mind, I can accomplish my work more effectively.
-How do you balance family and business?
-I strike a balance with love. I genuinely love both my family and my business. When you have love for your job, you want to invest your all into it. Similarly, when you love your family, you strive to ensure nothing is lacking. Therefore, I place great importance on nurturing love both within my family and among my staff.
-How do you handle difficulties?
-I handle difficulties silently. I prefer not to dwell on my challenges because nobody benefits from it. I dislike expressing vulnerability and believe that being strong, beautiful, and healthy is crucial, especially since I have three children.
-Tell us about your new projects and the company's prospects?
-Our company has tremendous potential, not only within Armenia but also internationally. I'm not one to talk excessively; instead, I believe actions speak louder than words. That's why we continuously work on new projects and strive to progress steadily, taking small but firm steps forward.
